* net/tramp.el (tramp-tramp-file-p): Comment check for
`string-as-unibyte'.  The function does not exist on XEmacs, and
likely we need another approach.

* net/tramp-sh.el (tramp-compute-multi-hops): Check, whether
`tramp-gw-*' variables are bound.
